This is one ICC tournament that seems to have gone the other way in terms of the right length. 4 matches in 8 days, win 75% of them and go out on NRR..... surely the capacity was there to increase the tournament length, maybe even play two group games against each team?

I know Sri Lanka haven't been great ; but I think they also need to be considered. Could well decide the semi finalists even if they don't make it themselves . Which they still could.

Then you will get the r**tards that complain the tournament is too long.
with the tournament going every 4 years they have the opportunity to increase the length of the tournament.

Disagree with the play 2 games against each team since in T20 NRR is always massive because of the small margin of the format.
Playing more game won't necessarily fix the NRR problem.

T20 perfect for the world cup since you can have proper world cup format and length and still feel like the tournament is short and rapid because you can play 3-4 matches a day if needed.
