I got back to the hotel, after a rain soaked day wandering around a garden centre, buying a lutyens garden bench for my wife's 60th birthday, and saw that England were 115 after 16 overs.

TBH I thought they were going to be well short of a respectable score... ie well short of the 350 runs that the bowlers might have a half chance of defending.

to get to 17o from there was a good effort, and the bowlers are making this look as though it is going to be a walk in the park............ but a darn sight drier than the one that I walked around earlier
