Leicester have started producing 'Champions' scarves.....first sign of cockiness?
"It has been said of the unseen army of the dead, on their everlasting march, that when they are passing a rural cricket ground the Englishman falls out of the ranks for a moment to look over the gate and smile."

As someone who obviously had a vested interest in those two penalty shouts, my view is that the first one (Simpson) was not a penalty, but the second one (Huth) absolutely was. Yes the ball was kicked at Huth from a short distance, and yes Huth didn't move his arm towards the ball. But why was it already stretched out? If there's no arm there, Austin's shot/cross gets past him. The arm being there makes him a bigger target. Just a nailed on penalty.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

I'm not going to comment on the Simpson one again, but you can definitely argue that Huth's out stretched arm was reason enough to give it.

You have to admit Brendy is right about the Simpson one though!

I was at OT for this one - wasn't the greatest game tbh, and we were lucky to get away with a win. We seem to have developed a real knack for taking promising attacking / counter-attacking positions and turning them into back passes to our own gk!

Was good to be there for the Bobby Charlton tribute :)

I did have a lovely dinner afterwards at the red cafe with Ashley Grimes as the ex-player and my dad was chuffed with his 60th birthday card and the unlimited red wine!

West Ham had a good goal ruled out at 0-0, came from another Carroll overhead kick. He's going overhead mad this afternoon!
