I like to keep them handy so I can try to predict which players I'm likely to be up against each week when selecting my own team

That scorecard was from the final match from last year.... me and Ian were neck and neck going into the match with just a handful of bonus points separating us, and I'd already given up winning the title. Leach picked up his 11 wickets early in the match, I think, and (blimey I'm working hard to remember here) Madsen, who'd been a disappointment to me in most of the matches came to my rescue on the final day

somehow I ended up falling over the winning line.

I still don't know how I managed to do that

I think I'd had a bad game a couple of matches earlier, only for Pringle to pick up 7 wickets on the final day, preserving my lead

I recall that after storming my way unbeaten to the half way point of the season, followed by 3 consecutive losses, I won the remaining 6 matches often by the odd run here and there or the odd wicket.

I was also helped by Ian losing unexpectedly and inexplicably to CF, despite CF not updating his side from one week to the next.
