So who will partner Kane at the Euros?

Roneys place must be under threat.

Rooney will start. He's our captain, and helped get us to the Euro's.

My five strikers would be:

Kane
Vardy
Rooney
Sturridge
Welbeck

I'd try and find a way to play both Vardy and Kane.

We dont need two strikers, Alli in the slot, Welbeck and Sterling (or Sturridge or Lallana) on the wing, Harry Kane up top.....

Vardy could have a use late in games because he has so much work rate and energy.

See Sturridge playing a role as a impact sub. Has played well after his injuries. Welbecks versatility will get him games. Vardy has done well in the international games he has played this season. Rooney is coming of a long injury, will he be ready?

A lot to be expected of Alli, though he seems unfazed by the pressure. A young look to the attacking line up, would be good to see.

I dislike the idea of Rooney even being in a provisional 40 man squad. Hasnt proved over a two year spell since his last world cup where his only moment was missing a sitter

I am no huge Vardy fan, but saying he doesnt deserve to get a chance is crazy. Id take one VArdy over 6 Wayne Rooneys at the moment.

Age shouldnt count against him. Has anyone been better in that role this year? Not even close. Boy deserves to start on merit, looks a quality player

Stoke coming back into this game after Spurs controlled the first 20 minutes.

Great foul from Whelan there, probably saved a goal and knew he could get away with a booking max

That he does. And if picking Kane, then it makes sense to play him.
