There was quite a long delay whilst Misbah was getting treatment and quite a few behind the bowlers arm stoppage from the elderly in the pavilion. The fact that Moeen Ali was unable to bowl economic overs didn't help either.

Quite a flat pitch though. Maybe Pakistan will get more reverse.

Classic Cook moment when the batter edged Broad through second slip, with Cook the only slipper at first. To be perfect, he would then go and stand at second and leave first open.

I said at the time it was a bad decision and the hawkeye showed it brushing the varnish on the leg stump. What made it worse is Ali is in my FL team.

Reading the papers it seems Jake Ball is the star of England's show despite Woakes taking the wickets. What has this young man to do to win over the pundits. Bumble in the Daily Mail announces Ball can take Anderson's place when he's done. Pardon me but the only swing on show yesterday came from Woakes.
