Some poor out shots now and then but I think it was a good day for England, 300 was a good target and if we bowl anywhere near well I reckon that's worth at least a 50 run lead. Woakes won't be daunted he's used to having low scores to bowl against for Warwickshire.

Also reading few articles seems like attendances was average as well quite disappointing to hear especially with ticket prices being decent priced.

quite odd considering Birmingham been sending me emails in the last few days/weeks saying only 500 or so less tickets are left, TBH only brought tickets for friday play because they said tickets are available and at good prices.

Believe Durham did the same thing, Aiden or one of the durham posters could confirm it.
No idea why Club lie and make it sound like the tickets are selling quick and not many left, even though they got loads left to sell.

Don't know about other people but if someone send me email saying the event is close to a sell out I probably won't bother looking or buying tickets for it on the other hand if they said loads of tickets available I might actually look at it.

Although to be fair they only got 1000 or so tickets left for Friday but could imagine last week they been 4-5K tickets left on it most sold day and more than half the tickets left on the day edgbaston were struggling to sell out in.

Counties should really think about selling all 5 day tickets, might improve the attendance since not sure they are enough people to watch all 5 or 4 days cricket and I suspect most people only go to watch one days play in a test match.
might explain why some days are sell out and some days no one barely turns up.

Not going to lie mostly because I got the time, when I go to a test matches prefer to watch all 5 days play or most of it, prefer to see a result or some good contest don't really like paying for only one day since it is a lottery if you get to see any play or if the play is below average in quality.
