if bangladesh prepare a flat deck, ban get the advantage and if they prepare a turning deck ban again get the advantage.
really Bangladesh should be favourites to win the 2nd test.
England would do well to keep it 1-0.
We've just won without Cook and Root contributing, which won't happen very often. I'd say England deserve to be favourites.
TBH I be surprise if Bairstow or Ali score runs again consistently and Stokes probably won't match his total again.
plus I doubt Bangladesh batting will fail again ether and they got better spinners.
Should be noted Bangladesh batting collapsed twice from good positions.
TBH wouldn't be confident of an england win until england actually scores the runs first.
Too many question marks in the batting and bowling to be so sure.
Actually quite happy england won in the end, would be so pissed if Bangladesh won the test and I missed out on placing a bet on them, since I was pretty sure bangladesh will do well in this series and probably win a game.
worth a punt with them at 6 or 7s to win a game.
Really if you look at it objectively it is no brainier that Bangladesh start favourites.
England got what 2 batsman anyone got trust in scoring runs, been scrapping runs for the best part of 2-3 yrs.
No spinners that can keep control and only one that looks threatening.
the only advantage they got is the pace men reverse swing.
For bangladesh they got 3 better spinners, decent batting line up in the conditions.
the only cons they have is poor pace bowlers and a big tail which is vulnerable to the reverse swing.
Really the crucial point is that I reckon Bangladesh is more likely to take 20 wickets cheaply enough than England will take 20 wickets.
not really sure where England are taking the wickets from or even keeping things tight considering most times the spinners will have to bowl yet they conceding 3.5 runs an over, really if the pace men didn't get reverse swing england would have been dead in this game.
Really not sure this justifies them to be favourites.
