if bangladesh prepare a flat deck, ban get the advantage and if they prepare a turning deck ban again get the advantage.
really Bangladesh should be favourites to win the 2nd test.
England would do well to keep it 1-0.
So despite winning this game, England don't deserve to be favourites for the second? Can't quite follow your logic there.
Bangladesh have one batsman averaging over 40. England have four. Not sure how you can say that Bairstow and Moeen won't score runs consistently, considering that Moeen averages 55 (2 hundreds, 4 fifties) and Johnny averages 72 (3 hundreds, 5 fifties) in the 2016 calendar year. And how many games are there going to be when Cook and Root don't score, and England's second and third wickets score less than ten runs?
England also have better pacers who've proved they can both keep it tight and be a wicket taking threat with the old ball. Bangladesh's pace attack was anonymous.
Sure Bangladesh have a better spin attack, and England may still be expected to struggle on a turning track. It won't be a shocker if Bangladesh win, they're certainly capable of it based on this match. But on the evidence of past performances and this test match, England will be favourites.
maybe we should just agree on them being evens.
Since I still don't believe the logic that England should be favourites because they won the game and the past record which is pointless really since Bangladesh is nothing like they were 6 yrs ago.
plus really if you think about it doubt anyone would back England till they actually score the runs for one won't back them taking 20 wicket unless the wicket doing something.
think more people will be confident of Bangladesh winning although really not much in it.
If I was pricing the game would be Bangladesh 1.90 and England 2.00 with the odds excluding the draw.
