If I am a United fan, I'd look on days like today with immense happiness. I remember seeing United at Burnley under Van Gaal, and they were absolutely shockingly bad. Never looked like scoring ever.....

Ok, so 0-0 is the same scoreline again, but United battered Burnley to shreds, even with 10 men. Id hazard a guess that no team in the Premier League will have 13 shots on goal this year and not score 2 or 3, maybe even 4 or 5 goals. And Id hazard a guess no team ever has had 40 shots from within 20 yards of the goal and not scored.

So Heaton had the game of his life, and Ibra and the United forwards had the worst games infront of goal of theirs.... but Id rather see my team creating chances and missing them, then not being able to create or break down a team.

United just got no luck today. I feel for them. I know it doesnt suit the narrative most people are looking for, but they create as many chances and attack like that again..... someone is going to get a hiding soon.

Its a step in the right direction for United.
