if india are bowling 16 overs an hour why are they still needing to bowl 1 over now still.
England again must be so slow with the overrates yet no fine or punishment for cook whatsoever.

no, but would probably have been bat pad if we actually had a fielder there! field settings have been awful - far too defensive for no reason, at the wrong times. Root is not in yet and there's only a couple of overs left, we should be on the all out attack to get a wicket before close of play

Some of the field places are a bit odd, especially a short leg.
although not sure they need many fielder close to the bat since the slow nature of the pitch and low bounce make it unlikely catches carry or even reach most of the fielder but one on each side is a must.
the choke field won't work now when team are not looking for singles in the first place so won't try to manupilate the field to get a single that allows Ashwin/jadeja get wicket.
Cook is out unless he hit it.

Massive wicket could have been the difference of a draw or a win that.

I wish people would stop moaning about DRS. It has its flaws but for me has been a welcome addition to the game in recent years just for the sheer cutting back of rank bad umpiring decisions which have all too often effected the result of games.

We should all just accept it and get on with it, and stop trying to tweak it every five minutes. Its not weighted in favour of any team and it seems to be working well for the most part.

Embrace its beauty!

huge wicket there, Cook gone so presumably Duckett will start tomorrow - will be lots of pressure on him so we should have Ashwin on straight away in the morning.

So only 9 wicket on day 4 and only 2 of those english wickets in 60 overs, but remember folks this is a dreadful wicket, lottery wicket and very poor for cricket but the NZ vs Pakistan game is fair with the game over in 2 day and session.
What irony.

That wicket has meant me going from some hope of a draw back to slim/no hope of a draw.

I think there is a fair argument that impact shouldn't have umpires call as it isn't predicted.

I'm not sure what you mean?

The umpire has to make a decision whether the ball struck the pad in line with the stumps or not.

think if arthur was doing the day count would be 2-2.
great fightback from england so far.
Cricviz saying with cook still batting india would have won the game with 12 overs remaining with him gone india win just after lunch or before the tea session.
