but it comes back to what i have said, in that india are a better team than us in these conditions
having a spin attack which imo is below test quality allowed india to score more than they should have, that then meant we were immediately under pressure going out to bat with 450+ on the board against us
we have a batting lineup that imo doesn't play spin very well and india have been able to pile on the pressure with better quality spinners being able to restrict scoring
india being able to bat first on a "better" pitch then able to bowl once the pitch has started to give more assistance has just really emphasised that gap
Think india been batting on the same pitch, the pitch hasn't even started deteriorating at the time.
