Coutinho looks like he could have a very serious injury.

From the sounds of it Liverpool playing poorly today?

Seems that way. Sunderland doing a United at Anfield. Doing everything to just get a point.

Pardew seems like a boom or bust manager.

His teams can go on long winning streaks, as well as long loosing streaks. No middle ground for him.

Exactly right, been the same wherever he's been.

If he can survive this poor trot, there's probably a four or five game winning streak around the corner, they've got decent enough players.

Even though he won the JPT with us - the event which I think all Saints fans regard as what kick started the journey which we are still on today - and isn't blamed for failing to get us promoted in his one season with us (due to the points deduction and starting the season with hardly any players), Pardew generally isn't well liked by Saints fans. The size of his ego constantly seemed to get in the way, and he's never really had anything positive to say about us since leaving (sour grapes I suspect). Plus constant rumours of him getting closer than he should have done to some of the wives/girlfriends of our players. Not the most attractive style of football either ("just hoof it up to Lambert and Lallana, guys. In this league, they'll do the rest").

Why do I bring this up? We go to Palace next weekend. Every chance that we could finish him off, which I'm sure a few Saints fans would be happy with.

Yes, a real Ladies Man by all accounts.

I remember hearing about those player girl friend rumours from a Southampton supporting work colleague, can't remember the specifics though.

good game to watch between bournemouth and arsenal so far

2 terrible mistakes have led to the 2 goals, one by the bournemouth defender passing to sanchez instead of his keeper and one by the referee giving bournemouth a really soft penalty

since the penalty bournemouth have probably been the better team

In what is probably their hardest home league game of the season, Pep goes with an XI that is arguably more attacking than usual. The guy really, really doesn't like defending, does he.
