Nearly lunch so time for two overs from Batty. Chopra on cricinfo agreed with my judgement on how Cook treated Batty yesterday.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

It is indeed shocking to me that specialist spinner has bowled only 9 overs of 115 bowled so far. Even non specialist spinners and pacers have bowled lot more than him. Cunning plan and i leave it at that.

Woakes just bowled 6 deliveries 2 feet wide of off to Jadeja, is this a tactic or just bad bowling.

This is superb batting. Lead stretched to 112 runs.

Resilient stuff from the India lower order. Logically, England should be able to make runs when their turn comes. But they need more runs than they made in the first innings, and it seems unlikely that will happen.

Is Haseeb fit to field and bat?

he might be a specialist spinner but he not bowling like one which is why no one actually want to pick him in the first place or that cook doesn't want to bowl him.
thought he bowled like a part timer yesterday, hard to see him getting a game again.

I can't remember Alan Knott or Bob Taylor ever dropping a catch. It seems to be the norm to shell a couple each innings nowadays.

134 now. Last wicket . This is nice lead as more than sessions score is covered.
