seems likely - they probably think it would look strange to drop Rashid and then bring him straight back in
any other changes you would make?
I am assuming that India will be unchanged

i'd have rashid in, not sure we need 4 seam bowlers, but it has been suggested the eden gardens pitch will be the most favourable to seam that we have seen so far so might work
my main changes would be in the batting lineup, with hales missing i might be tempted to just bump everyone else up a slot and have billings at #6 or #7, dont think it would be that much of an issue to ask root to open given we have seen how successful the likes of amla have done in ODIs at the top of the order
maybe a crazy thought but going in with 6 bowlers plus root might be confusing our bowling plans and having just the 5 specialist bowlers with root as backup might focus the mind better, but thats probably just me being insane

i know the CT is not as high profile as the world cup but still thought they would have some preparation for it

yes, it's not really very good planning. Ideally they should have lined up some ODIs in Eng to prepare but to not have any ODIs at all is far from ideal

They'll have a couple of warm ups in England before the CT.
