Looks a poor side so far in comparison to the others, but unfortunately I cannot think of any better alternatives :facepalm

Only thing I would add is that if we're looking to pick the best 'working' XI, then Ellison and Elsworthy are not a new ball attack that is going to threaten anyone, so maybe Fidel should be considered :dunno

Ross Edwards averaged 40 in 20 Tests around the turn of the seventies with two tons. Middle order bat according to Cricinfo. Edgar averaged 30, so I took him out. Taken out Emburey for Fidel.
