Have to feel for Morris and Miller at the end after that valiant chase. But England will be - rightly - delighted.

SA can strengthen their team of course. But so can England - if Stokes can maybe rest Monday and fix that leg ; and Woakes get fit again.

I now think England can really fancy a tilt at this CT. This was a good test of nerve ; and they passed.

Woakes would be in that team but he likely wont be available and not sure they know who between Willey and Ball should replace him, Ball didn't cover himself in glory today

In his post-match interview Stokes said his knee was causing no problems when he was batting or fielding and he's having further scans. Doesn't sound too serious and he'd get into the strongest team as a batsman but , especially now the series is won , I think I'd leave him out of the final game unless they are sure there is no risk in playing him.

Another great win from England. I said before the series that this would be the test of whether that favourites tag is justified. There can be no doubt now that England are more than capable of winning this tournament. Favourites? I still think Australia will have the edge. But I'd love to see an England - Australia final, and anything short of the final from England will probably be a disappointment.

Hats off to Stokes for a great knock, but given the niggle, surely he has to be rested for the final warm up and Bairstow given a game?

Plunkett is now surely in the first choice XI, and Ball probably misses out, but you've still got to pick two from Wood, Willey and Woakes. Woakes is a shoo-in iff fit, but hard call between Wood and Willey (snigger snigger).

If they left out Stokes, maybe bat Mo at six and keep the bowling options. Though ideally Woakes would be available in that scenario.
