Query over Mike Procter. Bat at six and leave out one of KP/Paynter/G.Pollock or in as a bowler?

Couple of options here. Could go:

Prior at 6
Proctor
Pollock
Philander
Prasanna
X

5 bowlers, whilst still having a genuine all-rounder at 8.

or

Prior at 7
Proctor
Pollock
Philander
Prasanna

Terrific batting strength, but will find it harder to take 20 wickets.

Pollock G. and Procter both in for me.
Peterson over Pujara.
Prior over Parkes.

Not got a prominent view on Pietersen/Pujara.

Prior at six. Can't say no to that after banging on about it for so long. Bunches up the batters though. Can't see Che getting in the middle order. See if we get other views.

But on the basis of this post I'll take that as a nod for Prior above Parkes.

Still leaning with Chet over AP. But it works either way.

There are a couple of us saying AP and you reckoning Chet, so if someone else comes out for Pujara maybe give him the nod.

Ian wants G.Pollock in. Out of KP and EP I'll go the former based on a more substantial career. I would have gone EP over Pollock though.

I'll have P.Pollock out of the bowlers, based on that 24 average.

If anyone has other thoughts, just change the team.

Going through the stats, Geoff Pullar is a 44 averaging opener from the sixties with about the same runs as AP (who averages 35). Pujara averages 51.

Tentatively gone Pullar for the nine better average and about the same Test runs as AP. Anyone feel free to swap them back or make any other changes before Sunday.
