groundsman had said before the game its one of the driest Lord's test pitches for a long time and he epxected it to turn late in the match

really wishing we had Rashid in this team now

He couldn't have made any less runs than Dawson

And you'd think he might not have conceded 38 off his first five overs...

But I will wait until the match is over before making any calls for changes...who knows ? Dawson may yet have an impact in this or the second innings.

Yep, that was hitting alot more of the wicket than the Bairstow and Dawson dismissals.

The umpire could also see a fair bit of the leg stump in that last call, but chose to turn the appeal down.

Good partnership this for SA . De Kock still to come ; could yet get up towards England - which wasn't looking likely an hour or so back. They're really not looking troubled by the bowling at present.

England won't be exactly nervous ; but they'll be hoping for a mistake soon from one of these two - a fair while to go the next new ball.

Maybe time to bring Moeen back ?

I think the ball is reversing, just batters are playing well at the minute and bowlers aren't quite getting it in the right areas.
