we are having a pathetic time of it in the blast...3 defeats out of 4 :facepalm

Lose a couple more, and you'll be well advised to just bin the competition; rest your Championship men. Last thing you want is for poor t20 form to damage your title ambitions.

Could be right...but its about time we won a limited overs trophy...our problem is a lack of firepower at the top of the order really

Which makes the complete lack of Wheater (gloves or not) quite strange. He regularly batted in the top three for us, with complete license to play his shots.

Nope. Gloucestershire are still terrible but for some reason Kent can never beat them. Lost to them last week too.

Inclined to say that this is the first time this season, in any format, than Kumar is keeping for Surrey. No Foakes or Burns in the side, although Pope would have been an option.

Great run chase by Derby, and a great start to the campaign for them. That said, they weren't up against the strongest opposition ever.
