Yeah, it's not a tactic that you often see in t20, but there's little doubt that Sussex have gone all-in when it comes to their bowling attack. Once you get past their openers, their batting is nothing to shout about at all. Turns out Sky are televising T20 Blast matches on Thursday and Friday on Sky Sports Mix, whilst the Day/Night test match takes place.

I thought the reason why there is no televised Blast on Sunday afternoon and Blast Quarter-Finals between Tuesday 22nd and Friday 25th August is to prevent test cricket clashing with T20 cricket.

Then there is the ECB who decided to announce mid-way through the Blast that Yorkshire must forfeit home advantage if they were to finish 1st or 2nd in the North Group. Since Sky are now televising Blast cricket at the same time as test cricket, there is no reason why Friday's Quarter-Final could get moved to Monday when Headingley is available for use.

Not only the ECB are damaging the integrity of a major domestic competition, their claims that a City Based T20 will protect test cricket becomes contradictory.

That said, from here I think six different results would all have to go Yorkshire's way (only one of which is their own) to get a top two finish.

A Lancashire win tonight will favour Yorkshire as the Birmingham Bears finale on Friday is live for both sides

If Yorkshire miss out, then it's down to not winning matches that went down to the wire. Disappointing considering the quality of personnel in the Vikings T20 line up.
