so we have

a worthy feat, but then so was Colly's yesterday, and neither were as significant as a hundred in each innings in a test match win over a powerhouse by a bunch of no-hopers (allegedly).

can the decision be reviewed or have we used them all up?

Shai was second with Lyon in third.

I'll show my workings. I try to think of COTD as just that....OTD. Whilst I sometimes mention overall performances I try and limit it to just that day's play.

Today I had to balance up what was bigger 174 runs v Warwickshire or 118 v Warwickshire and fell the way of the Lancastrian.

Sohail Tanvir got the most economical fivefer in the history of T20 cricket with his 5-3 for Guyana vs Barbados

Bit of an odd one today as the COTD is a member of a team that lost badly. Angelo Matthews was the lone warrior for Sri Lanka scoring 70 runs - a third of his team's score - and also getting two wickets for 24 runs against India.

With today and tomorrow being Finals Days I will have to go for Cricketer of the day and performance of the day.

Cricketer of the day is Sarah Taylor. She was instrumental in the West winning the KSL she scored 109 runs and got four wickets across the two finals.

Performance of the day comes from Rahkeem Cornwall whose score of 78 plus 2-30 couldn't help St Lucia beat Barbados

Cricketer of the day today is Nottinghamshire's Harry Gurney who got 3-19 in the semi against Glamorgan and then 4-17 in the final against Warwickshire.

Individual performance of the day goes to North West's Craig Alexander for his 4-11 against Eastern Province in the Africa T20 Cup

Ben Stevens is an absolute powerhouse for Jersey cricket and today he was the main man as they steamrolled Vanuatu to get to the top of the group in ICC World Cricket League Divison Five.

He got 5-28 as well as 28 runs of his own.

How lower standard do you go down to professor? Can or will a village club player win it over a test one?
