Aussie wicketkeeper selection

Postby andy » Mon Sep 11, 2017 10:14 am

Matthew Wade clearly isn't the best option for Australia as their test match wicket keeper so who would be your keeper for the first test at the Gabba

Mine would be Peter Nevil

me too, but I think Alex Carey is exciting a few people after taking 59 Sheffield Shield scalps for South Australia last season. One for the future, perhaps?

I have a lot of time for Tim Paine but am aware I'm in a minority.

Edit:

Just seen he's getting the nod for the game that starts overnight against the Indian President's XI

Paine appears to be in the 'More money than sense XI' playing in Pakistan - was sure he was in the squad I saw for today's game against the President's XI.
