Certainly not disheartened to lose though.

4 goals in 6 games though, that has to be a major worry in the coming weeks. Where are hte goals going to come from?

Oh it's a huge worry. But not against Man Utd. I can take dominating, but creating not too much, against Man Utd. Jose went into shut-up-shop mode very early on, it was clear he was worried about us equalising.

But yes, bigger picture it is a huge concern. And that is totally the fault of the board. We showed last season that we needed to sign a no.10, and a winger. Possibly another striker too. And we didn't sign any of them. Consequently it was a horror transfer window (which is a real shame, because Hoedt and Lemina look like great signings and for once we kept our players) and this season will be very boring. We've hardly scored a goal since February. Thankfully, I can't see any way that we're getting relegated.

The Liverpool fragile defence comes to the fore again. Liverpool lead 3-2. Mignolet saved a vardy penalty!

Simon Miignolet saved the penalty, but gave it away, and was the reason for the secodn goal. Who would be a liverpool supporter, for neutrals though, theres always going to be goals when watching Liverpool

I'm not sure it was a penalty, he got to the ball first, got a bit of it, and then collided with Vardy who got nowhere near the ball.

Handball by Can was a penalty though.

pity, that. It was an excellent opportunity for Newcastle to grab a vital 3 points before the lean times come along.

Losing to Huddersfield and Brighton, just makes the job of staying in the league much harder. Apart from Spurs, Newcastle haven't had to play any of the usual top 6 teams, yet, so they have to pick up points against the other also ran's

I see Joselu has been missing clear cut chances again. 2 today and 3 last week.................... living up to his £5M price tag, sadly

Kane again.

Loads of space for Erriksson, Kane and Alli as Huddersfield still committing loads of men forward.

3-0 after 24 minutes.

Huddersfield have changed things around and been a bit less gung ho second half, looks like it will stay 3-0.

From what I've seen from their first 7 games they do look like they should have enough to stay up, well organised at the back (although the keeper has had a mare today), and possess a bit going forward.

Obviously injuries might upset things a bit.
