Still feel that if one wicket goes the whole lot could implode but well batted to daws and Vince there. Just keep it going boys and don't give your wicket away!

Absolutely, which is why we've still got a huge amount of work to do. We know that Holland, Berg and Abbott can all hold a bat, but we can't be relying on them. If they're facing more than ten overs between them (ie 60 deliveries), then I would be very concerned. So on that basis, at least one of Vince and Dawson - ideally both, between them - still need to face around another 110 - 125 balls.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

There is also the fact that the longer these two stay out there, the more open Warks might become to accepting an early handshake. We've still got a minimum of an hour until we get to that point, mind.

Wouldn't Middx have cause to complain if that happens? Anything can happen in 6 balls!

Not in my book. It happens up and down the country, throughout the season. Whether Warks would feel obliged to continue in this particular circumstance, I don't know. And who knows, they might still think they could the match at that point anyway. But if it was to happen, I can't see how Middlesex could complain.

Dawson is livid at himself. The break has done for us again.

Not particularly confident after those first two balls of Holland being able to repeat Dawson's innings.

Is the current remaining overs situation correct or is it so many overs from a certain time?

First hour is however many overs they can bowl. So in theory 16 overs, but could be 12 overs or could be 20 overs. We are exactly half way through that hour.

Second hour is 16 overs, even if it takes more than an hour. But if it takes less than an hour, we continue until the hour is up.

And that could be that. Great effort from Vince, but probably to no avail.

Vince gone. Huge wicket. That could be that, I don't see us doing it from here.
