Mail and the times criticising BT Sports coverage so far.
Sky insight and technical aspect of the game is missing and the radio type commentary been noted as well.

biggest lost been no researcher or guy/girl that provides information and stats for the comms to use in the coverage.
that probably one reason why BT struggled in that aspect today since they didn't really know what to talk about most of the time which is why Swann had to start talking about beards, who going to jump in the pool etc, basically channel 9 stuff.
one of the articles said if sky were doing it today straightaway they would have brought out old videos of cook getting out like that or an explanation of why Cook got out, whereas today BT didn't even touch the subject.
Also the third man aspect of the coverage gone, although Smith tried it in the first session wasn't able to add anything probably because he had no material prepared, the commentators either do the research on sky or someone does it for them and they present it.
hopefully the coverage is better tomorrow.

Just had a quick look at the weather. Need to bat as deep into tomorrow as possible (obviously) but then there is some rain Friday night into Saturday which will suit Anderson and Broad.

Conditions apparently hotter, sticker and the pitch should be quicker.

Need to see off the new ball with a bit more composure like yesterday. Pitch still looks sluggish so far

Moeen Ali is losing his head a bit here. One bad stroke, and its followed by two loose shots.

Gilchrist clearing up a statistic error that I thought seemed mega wrong yesterday. He said Warney had a poor record at Brisbane, but he had an immense one. Glad I didnt dream that up

Meanwhile Malan fluffs a short ball and gets away with it.

I've got an internet stream and bbc commentary in a different window. The radio commentary is synchronised to the previous ball, like a digital media Two Ronnies sketch.
