Was expecting WI to flop in tests and compete in ODI relatively better. However, WI have been performing well below par in ODI series too so far.

WI will be playing qualifiers for next ODI WC.

86/7. Boult ensured victory in his first spell itself by picking 3 wickets. Lockie backed it with 3 wickets.

Superb bowling by Trent. Runs through WI batting lineup giving a performance of 34/7 in 10 overs.

Kiwis win by 204 runs. Very below par batting by WI.

Not seen Lightning Boult to such devastating effect for a while. That's a hell of a pasting.

Worst. West. Indies. Team. Ever.
:angry
Nicholls hit 83 not out, and there were 50s from Worker and Taylor, as New Zealand propelled themselves to an imposing 325-6. Cottrell took 3-62 and Holder 2-52, but there was not much else to talk about. The West Indies were then routed for a pathetic 121 all out by Trent Boult (7-34) and Lockie Ferguson (3-17). Tailender Ashley Nurse topscored with 27.

Back in 2013, a Dwayne Bravo-led ODI side drew their series 2-2 in New Zealand. This side is a pale shadow of that one.

The Kiwis beat the West Indies by 66 runs on D/L after the match was reduced by rain.

Taylor topscored with 47 not out to lead New Zealand to 131-4 off 23 overs, Cottrell taking 2-19, and Holder and Miller one wicket each. Once again, it was the batsmen who let the side down, limping to 99-9, Holder topscoring with 34. Boult took 3-18, Santner 3-15, and Henry 2-18.

This horrendous tour has finally come to an end. New Zealand win 2-0. The rain saved us from a white wash.

WI are really struggling. Could not even win a single match even in the format in which they are the best. Lost both match comprehensively.
