Anyone notice that England have given up on Mills for T20s. Last played Feb 2017. Maybe it's his figures 4 matches 3 wickets at 38.66 but usually a player gets more games, especially when they have extra speed. Wood in ODIs 19 matches 40.66.

Mills is not doing well in the BBL either - average 58.00 econ 9.66

This seems to be tonight, or rather, 03.30 in the morning. Rather crept up on me.

Seems Haze has been rested. Cricinfo has this as a probable side.

1 David Warner, 2 Aaron Finch, 3 Steven Smith (capt), 4 Travis Head, 5 Mitchell Marsh, 6 Marcus Stoinis, 7 Tim Paine (wk), 8 Mitchell Starc, 9 Pat Cummins, 10 Adam Zampa, 11 AJ Tye

But then this is their England side and I can't see Mo batting at six and Woakes at seven.

1 Jason Roy, 2 Jonny Bairstow, 3 Joe Root, 4 Eoin Morgan (capt), 5 Jos Buttler (wk), 6 Moeen Ali, 7 Chris Woakes, 8 Adil Rashid, 9 Liam Plunkett, 10 Tom Curran, 11 Mark Wood
I always say that everybody's right.

Cricinfo has this as our team for the morning:

1 Jason Roy, 2 Jonny Bairstow, 3 Joe Root, 4 Eoin Morgan (capt), 5 Jos Buttler (wk), 6 Moeen Ali, 7 Chris Woakes, 8 Adil Rashid, 9 Liam Plunkett, 10 Tom Curran, 11 Mark Wood

Looks like Ben Stokes is a big miss in all 3 departments...

Yes. I reckon one of the seamers will miss out and Hales will play and Root will be sixth bowler.

The Aussie team looks formidable, even without Hazlewood.

Or Billings or Malan as he'll bat lower in the order.

Moeen, Woakes and Rashid are, on paper, a good ODI lower middle order. Although it looks much better starting at 7, with another bowler in the top order!

Maybe, the lower-middle order looks potentially vulnerable. If the top 3 don't score big, 4-7 are capable batsmen, but don't have a very consistent record at this level.

Just the 7 players in the 1st ODI squad who have represented or play for Yorkshire. Somehow need to accommodate Ballance, Willey, Handscomb and Maxwell for a full xi!

Finch
Bairstow
Root
Ballance
Maxwell
Head
Handscomb
Rashid
Willey
Plunkett
Starc

Finch out for 105. Nice innings.

Timely wicket for England. Now they can hope to restrict the totottal below 300.

Stoinis is playing well here. He has not allowed England to get back after Finch's wicket.
