although Katherine is probably the 3rd biggest place in the Territory, after Darwin and The Alice. Doesn't say much for a place that is (maybe) 10 times the size of Britain, eh?

I think, as a youth, he has lived in WA (maybe Perth) and Adelaide.

Good thing that he has got to play in the Big Smoke that is Hobart. That will complete his education.

A long tour this. England starting poorly again. Top three fired out.

Vince batting for Morgs. Dawson for Wood, who's presumably injured. Finch in for Head (fnar).

Captain Morgan has a groin strain. Wood was left out for Daws, not injured.

Early chance for Buttler here.

All over. If T20 is the future of international cricket, then the future of international cricket is in big trouble.

One of the more comprehensive T20 victories for Aus that I can remember.

Every player played a big part. Even Warner who scored another 0, 2 or 4. His run out of Malaan was top shelf stuff, and I think he has been a revelation as a captain. I was surprised. He has re-energised the team - although the huge influx of the BBL players certainly has helped.

I actually felt more positive for it's future this past week.

Strangely enough.

In the post above, I also meant to throw up the question of Ponting's influence on the T20 side....

I think when Ponting takes over the t20 side, then he will appoint Warner as captain....Im not sure there's room for Smith in this t20 side to be honest...Finch was down at 5!! No place for Smith...a batting line up of

Warner
Short
Finch
Lynn
Maxwell
Stoinis

That's a class batting line up, where do you fit smith in there..

I expect that all involved in Aus cricket, including Smith, don't expect a future in the 20 over format for S Smith.

good im glad that's the opinon...as much as i rate him in tests, and he does a decent job in ODI'S, he's not a t20 player...im suprised he gets massive bids in the IPL to be honest..

Two reasons for him being bid for IPL.

1. Scored IPL 100 last year.
2. Captaincy material. Pune Super Giant were struggling second last. He was made captain next season, Pune reached finals.
