Finally some much needed runs for Liton Das! Place was under pressure coming into this game, however let's be honest anyone could have scored runs on that track!

Fair enough.

More of a balanced game this time. So maybe the curator has been nudged. But the game still weighted towards spin on day one with BD opening with two spinners

A recovery for SL from 110-6.

Unusual that an opening bat would get 33 Tests, with an average of 26.6, as has Imrul Kayes.

also just seen the highlights, yes it turned from the first over, but it wasn't a minefield, a lot of sri lankan batsmen got out in one day cricket dismissals, which were shocking...and Bangladesh got out because they went into their shells...

BD struggling here and no sign it's getting easier to bat. It'd be ironic if BD got a pitch warning for the opposite reason. Unusually, no wickets for Herath.

Three wickets each for Lakmal and Dhananjaya as they bowl Bangladesh out for 110 all out....

Six wickets for 23 at the end for BD in a spectacular collapse.

Good match for Dananjara.

SL still ahead of BD in Tests on this showing.

In June Sri Lanka tour west indies and in July Bangladesh tour the Caribbean. That could sort out positions seven eight and nine in the rankings.

Mahmuddlah to captain Bangladesh in the first t20... bit odd that Tamim is official vice captain but everytime the regular captain hasn't been avaliable, the selectors have chosen someone else to captain the side rather than Tamim...
