Does Latham keep wicket in the limited over stuff?
Which medium pacer on our books lines up with the 2 certainties?
Does Poynter play or does Richo get the gloves back?
1. Markram
2.
3. Steel
4. Clark
5. Richardson
6. Collingwood
7. Poynter
8. Pringle
9.
10. Rimmington
11. Rushworth
Steel opened in the last match of last year and reassuringly scored 10 and 5. Will everyone move up one place to make room for 4 medium pacers (5 if we include Colly)?

I'd like Jones and Harte to be given opportunities pre-season to compete for that position.

I think he spent most of the season captaining the Hants second x1, don't know if his form didn't justify a first team place or if they just decided to move on from him.
When he used to play here I thought his ability to bat time and blunt the new ball was very useful regardless of how many runs he scored but those were the days when we had a formidable attack and that's not the case anymore so he will have to score a lot of runs.

He scored profically in the 2nd team championship, as did both Jones and Harte. I'd be more than happy for both Steel and Smith to bat time and blunt the new ball-better than Rockytype run a ball 40s.
