Given the amount of rain we've had I wouldn't be surprised if there was no play tomorrow even if it stayed dry.

Ironic that we would have had full 3 days play had it been at the Riverside-not that we'd make it last 3 days.

Yep! Think the Riverside is the only ground that would have had uninterrupted play this week.

I cn't remember who we play next but there must be the possibility that it will be against a side who has had the chance to hone their batting skills over 3 matches, whilst we've honed ours over about an hour and a half

doesn't fill me with confidence

even last year, after the first game, I had some hope for the season.

This year any hope I had for the next 5 months was dashed within the first 30 minutes of the first game.

I genuinely couldn't care less about this season.... bring on the 2019 season, but only after getting rid of JJB Deadwood

Leicestershire at the Riverside starting on Friday. In theory one of the weaker sides but we'll probably make them look like world beaters.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if the twin batting disasters against Kent were just bad luck. However I'm fairly sure this lineup is nowhere near strong enough.
