15 ODIs between now and the World Cup, plus whatever friendly warm-ups are offered. 5 each away v Sri Lanka and West Indies, and 5 at home v Pakistan. The latter should be a good warm-up/run-in for the cup.
Can England win the world cup? Most certainly. They have the team to do it. Will they? Heart says yes, head says no. ODI knockouts are just so unpredictable, and how often does everything go right for England when we need it to?

Arthur Crabtree wrote:Could do with a gun go-to pace bowler to be strong favourites. A Starc or a Boult. Hard to pick weaknesses otherwise. Maybe Rashid and Plunkett could be less expensive (though they take a lot of wickets). Perhaps they overbowl Gentle Ben. England are good enough to win, but aren't like the Aussies under Waugh and Ponting where you expect them to win.
