I've had a look at the tables and the fixtures.... Kent play Essex and they'll win, Gloucs play Hants and they'll also win, Sussex play the Middle and they'll win too
which means if we win tomorrow we get to look forward to being utterly annihilated by Jofra Archer and Rashid Khan next Thursday (because it will be the Thursday fixture, you know... bet you anything you like)
If we lose tomorrow and Worcs win, we'll end up with either Kent or Gloucs, depending on who beats their opposition the most comprehensively
on balance I think we have to hope we get Klinger, Howell et al
Kent has 81 ao written all over it, being bamboozled by Denly's leggies and Imram Qayyum's left arm offies, trying to chase 220 thanks to Joe Denly's 100 and Sean Dickson's late fireworks

It's just that i always get this twitchy ahead of quarter finals
all those years of humiliation and embarrassment takes it's toll when experienced as often as we've had to experience it

seems he's played his last match of the comp and is now off with Afghanistan for their series against Ireland

Excellent. Martin Emmerson said a Thursday QF is unlikely because day 4 of the CC game at Cardiff is Wednesday but he mention that FTECB were in charge of the scheduling so...
Thursday it is then!

everybody is playing in the CC resumption, so everyone will be in the same boat, anyway
I would have thought we'd be at the top of list to be shafted by the scheduling

Other thing is - why schedule a round of CC games in the few days between the group stages and qualifiers.
