He's scored runs for us this year in T20 but I think his overall record is surprisingly poor apart from that great IPL season last year. He's the batsman who capable of doing something extraordinary but it could easily be extraordinarily bad!

His mere presence though gives the rest of the squad a boost and also worry the opposition.

Yes, Sussex won't be pleased he's playing.

BBC forecast has 80% chance of rain before 4pm going down to 12% at 6 and in single figures after it. It was hopelessly wrong last week but it does look a lot brighter outside today so I suspect there won't be any delays.

That'd be typical.
The other potential problem is if there's a risk of rain then whoever wins the toss may well bowl first - if that is the thinking I hope we don't win it. I'm sure the rain in the air against Lancs the other week was the reason we decided to bowl first.

I think so. Think he opened when he played earlier on.
Big crowd here- queue for tickets stretched from the entrance gate all the way back to the gym entrance and the pavilion is pretty full already.
