It was ok when Marlon was doing it to Gentle Ben.

Not as great as following the IJLT era ODI side, but the next best thing.

Of course, Gayle could chase this down in 30 overs.

Cottrell has been their best bowler by miles, and he isn't going to bowl out

feels like an error..... although I'm not sure anyone could bowl to JB2 in this mood

JB2 easily England's best ever white ball batter.

Crazy to bat him in the second half of the 50 overs, or later, as England often do.

Wonder if he'd be better if he didn't keep?

I suppose the effect of keeping isn't the same as in Tests. ABDV and Gilchrist did well enough.

Yep. Said it for a long time... you want to give people like Jos as many overs as possible.

Jos is unbelievably good in this format

For me buttlers talent is clouting it in the last 15-20 overs

He tends to knock it around like every batsman when he comes in early

I'd bring him in at 5 or whenever we lose a wicket after over 25 up the order if we don't lose many wickets

It's the same reason I think he is wasted opening in t20, I want him taking 15+ off every over at the end, we have other players who can score quickly with the field up, this guy is a freak in the second half of an innings

Believe that just gave Buttler the most sixes in an innings ever.

Nope, the record is 16.... Sharma. Comms was wrong.

Ah sorry... most sixes in an innnigs..... 24 . I got the record wrong...

Braitwaite then bowls him, but take a bow Jos. Stunning.
