Apart from the customary lower-middle order recovery followed by the customary early wicket!
Either both captains misread the pitch in wanting to bat or it maybe better than the first innings score siggests.
Personally though I'll be amazed if we get a big lead and not surprised if Leics have a first innings lead! Poynter at 6 seems at least two places too high for me.

Yes! I suppose 41/3 is an improvement from last year...but still hopeless! And all too predictable although two of the first choice batsmen so they can be forgiven this wobble.
Not sure why Eckersley wasn't selected, if we wanted a keeper to bat at 6 surely he would have been a better bet. Although hopefully Poynter will prove me wrong.

Poytner batting at 6 is batting 6 places too high imo.. If Eckersley isn't considered better than Poytner why did we give him a contract?

I truly hope Salisbury can hang around for a bit in the morning or we could easily find ourselves 6 down for 60 runs.
