I see Blackwell is umpiring.
he'll be hoping the bowlers bowl some 'pies'
The deal Durham offered Bunny was a rolling one year deal, IIRC, which made sense from a Durham perspective given his injury record, but which didn't provide him with the security that he clearly wanted. I can understand both points of view. When Lancs offered him more security than we were prepared to offer it made sense for him to go and he went with my blessing and my thanks for all the years of excellent service he gave Durham. At the same time it was probably just too big a risk for Durham to award him a longer term deal (on a very healthy salary, I'd imagine) at a time when FTECB were screwing us to the floor.
Just couldn't find something that suited both sides, which sometimes happens in sport. One of those things.
Bunny staying fit and taking loads of div 1 wickets suggested that perhaps we should have had more faith in his fitness, but unfortunately our crystal ball was confiscated by FTECB as part of the punishment rescue deal

According to Martin Emmerson Alex Hales is likely to make his Notts comeback against us on Friday. It's an outground so presumably short boundaries?!

They'd have been shortened at Trent Bridge anyway.Wood and Stokes available for us, I believe. Taxi for Clark?

of course Burnham would have to make way for Stokes in that scenario and Clark would get a reprieve
