I noticed when checking that, that it was back in 2016 that we were playing Jennings at number 10 and he walked out to the crease and calmly hit the last 2 balls for a 4 and a 6 to secure a last ball win.

However, I don't mind that, tbh. For me the point of this comp was to try and build a bit of confidence amongst the players which I think they've done. It has been a creditable campaign whether they make the qualilimifiers or not. Lots of things to build on for the CC and for the T20 cup later in the year.
compare that to last year where a shocking one day cup campaign just compounded a poor CC start and we ended up with a dismal CC campaign
Maybe things will be different this year?
