Well that hour or so of batting is one way to avoid tricky declaration decisions! Excellent century from Lees.
We've looked fairly threatening after a couple of poor overs but the pitch seems ok and the sun is out.
Should be interesting!

Derbyshire on top for now. 45/0 with not a lot happening.
223 more required in 60 overs so still plenty of time but the pitch seems flat and just the occasional ball beating the bat.
Pretty innocuous again from the opening duo and Raine & Potts causing a few problems- but only a few!

I missed that collapse this morning but what were the last 5 thinking of? Lees approaching a century and not much work to do to set 300 plus and the last 5 get shot out!

Madsen survived a huge lbw appeal by Raine, inexplicably given not out but he's not survived the next one.

Godleman for once fails to get past 50 against us. Out for 42 so 78/3 with 190 more required from 45 and a bit overs.

No runs since the last wicket. They've got to get a couple more wickets before we get to that period where the ball gets soft and batting gets easier.
I thought the draw was out of the equation but with 190 needed in about 43 overs it may not be.
Next hour or so will be crucial.
