They made the Netherlands work very hard, IIRC. It ended up being 3-1 or something but they had the dutch worried for a while

Cameroon have a couple of speed merchants, one on each wing..... one of whom likes to roll around a lot. She scored against the dutch, and the right winger scored both of their goals in the last match I think

I haven't seen Cameroon play yet. Pace and power always cause problems, though I'm sure Neville has it all worked out!

can't believe the ref overturned her penalty decision

just because the shoulder is at the top of the arm doesn't mean that if you use your upper arm to block the ball you can say that it must have been off the shoulder

shocking decision... she deliberately used her arm to block that

If that had been the other way around there is no way the penalty would have been overturned

funny how these things go the way of the bigger teams

Refs have done that for years anyway.... I thought VAR was supposed to improve things

and, of course, mighty Germany's first goal against lowly Nigeria was allowed to stand because the offside player was deemed to be inactive....... even though she was standing right in front of the keeper..... literally right in front. How that can be inactive is beyond me... keeper would have needed a periscope to see the shot coming.... maybe a couple of those wing mirrors used for towing caravans too

there can be no complaints about the VAR awarded penalty though.... the defender nearly kicked her knee cap off
