I'm beginning to be optimistic.

Even Ben Stokes couldn't save us here! Does a win send you up or still to be decided next week?

I think it depends on the Sussex result. They have a lot of work to do against Derby (they are chasing 350ish) but they've made a good start. If Derby win and we don't, then I doubt there is much anyone can do to prevent Gloucs and Northants being relegated next year

That is my understanding too. Last time we were in Div 1 it took a couple of years to recover from the dispiriting experience.

That is my understanding too. Last time we were in Div 1 it took a couple of years to recover from the dispiriting experience.

You never know. Kent have surpassed all expectations this year and Notts- very strong on paper- were lucky to stay up last year and have been useless this season.
