As long as bowlers get something, I am happy. I meant bizarre in terms of consistently, lots of balls not doing a great deal after the first 5-6 overs, then bam... something does something

Axar getting turn again, Root drives at it and it misses, dangerous playing those shots if the ball occasionally does that. The next goes straight and a half an appeal. Tough for batting against this, two massive differences on similar line and lengths

Might seem like a nothing point, but the Crawley single in that over is exactly the difference between the 1st and 2nd test results for England. Ball doesnt spin, he just leans into it with a bat across the direction of spin and gets an easy single. That ball turns, you play like that you are getting out. If that ball turns like the Root one, hes gone.
