I get the feeling the pitches are starting to change in India. I read an interesting article about Shubman Gill a while back that suggested his very heavy back foot bias was seen by many in India as an indication of a new generation of players coming through on quicker and more bouncy wickets, and that this would be a trend into the future.

I guess Adi/Red and Dr C might disagree with that, but certainly the quality of seam bowling and the amount of help in this series for seamers feels quite abnormal.

He is so much better as a bowler when England dont have him digging in half trackers. Used th bouncer sparingly and getting it on target, much more effective.
