in fairness though, its not as if we have 4 perfectly capable keepers in the side or anything daft like that, so we probably are not in the position where we could drop the least well performing one and replace him with a young batter we might need in a few years time

perhaps Franklin has been reading this, because Poynter is out of the squad, and Jones is in. Potts comes into the squad for Coughlin who drops out and Salisbury is in for Woody, who we won't for a while

Mr Ned will take the gloves. Lets hope it doesn't affect his form, which has been excellent of late

Yes,can't argue with that selection. I'd like to see Jones given a run in the middle order,hard task asking a novice to open especially at the Riverside. Hope also that Potts gets the nod.

I'd like to see Jones get a run too. Salisbury has bowled well this season though and probably deserves to get his place back, so Potts might have to wait a bit, unless Raine gets a match off. He's been less potent in the last couple of matches, albeit just as miserly

Bangers was in the 2nd last game when both Potts and Trevaskis were outstanding.. Perhaps he's had a word in Franklin's ear. I have the impression that Bangers is a stronger voice in dressing room than Franklin.
