Been a lot of talk today about PSG being in a crisis after one result. If this had been a knockout, PSG would have won 3-2 on aggregate and gone through against arguably the best team in the competition, so the writing off is a bit premature considering its very tough to play away to big sides. Although, City were desperately unlucky the first leg, and the result flattered PSG in both ties.
Having said that, Messi is clearly not the player he once was it seems. Whether that's taking time to adapt to his new team-mates, a lose of motivation leaving Barcelona so late, or just a rare patch of form where he's merely good as opposed to ridiculously brilliant..... he doesnt seem his dominating self in the latter third, and seems to have lost a bit of zip. He is approaching 35, so I guess we have to accept his days at the very top of the world game might be behind him.
Or he could just suddenly explode. But he's been quite redundant in games I've watched PSG in this year, save for momentary flashes of brilliance.
