DD spots another of my under the radar picks

As well as Keogh, I also nearly included Proctor in my team, but I couldn't find anyone I wanted to leave out for him. Time will tell if it was the right call

Obviously I had to have a Northamptonshire player. Keogh's bowling has developed and Proctor's regressed. Keogh is often a poor starter. I also thought carefully about which to choose but wondered about the effect of the captaincy on Proctor.

Just noticed, while setting up the spreadsheet for this, that Arthur, Fluffy, DD and Red Jnr have all chosen to select Hain and Abell


which I found amusing

Abell is already out for an unspecified period due to injury (although there is no suggestion that he was attacked by Sam Hain), so let's hope that Hain doesn't spend his season wandering about in the land of Nod

Norwell and Abell not playing is not the greatest start for me!

Norwell is one of those players that I'd love to pick, but just can't trust him to stay injury free for long enough. They are trying to find a way of managing him, seemingly, and have already changed the way he trained over the winter, but the first Warks preview of the season said he was being left out to 'manage' his workload, which doesn't inspire me with confidence given that he hasn't played since Sept... not sure what needs managing on day one of a new season. It might be brilliant and he might stay fit enough for long enough to rack up masses of points, but I didn't feel confident about it
