Yep. Only way I could see it working is if they capitulate in a couple of sessions- but I wouldn't give them 2 full sessions unless the target is totally impossible. In that scenario there's a small chance they could fold even trying to bat out the draw. What we don't want is any dangling of carrots.

I still think 10 overs remaining is the target, but now Lees is in the 90's the scoring has dried up. Lead is 300 and I think we have 8 more overs, so if he doesn't get to his hundred quick, we could be setting 330 not 350

If they do come back out there'd be no point in declaring, because the first short ball from Potts would have the umpires taking them off again, so keep batting if they get the chance, I suppose

here's a stat.... after hitting 10 fours en route to 59, the last 40 runs scored by Lees came from 2 two's and 36 singles. Maybe the burden of becoming that most rare of Durham beasts... players scoring centuries in both innings... was weighing heavily on him.

I also think we will declare but I wouldn't- I'd be looking at getting the lead up.to 500.
