BBC might call him the Lord of the Rings and Titanic actor, but for me he'll always be Yosser Hughes

I remember Graeme Souness talking about his appearance in BFTBS, in the days when he was considered to be a hard man of football, and his encounter with Hill portraying Yosser. Hill was completely in character and Souness said he radiated something that was so terrifyingly mental it genuinely scared him

Never watched BFTBlackstuff, but quite moving to read about Bernard Hill's performance and character in the obituaries.
