So close in fact, he has one... Azam out... but I think that might be sliding down personally. Maybe not enough to beat umpires call though.

Nope.. umpire has it right, its flush on leg stump. New ball does the trick under lights.

Seem to be ending the day with the floodlights on. Its pretty much a DN game out there now, almost totally dark and the floodlights are fully on.

So close to another.... but not sure that England will enjoy seeing that ball. That one bounced and completely died off the pitch, Naseem had no chance of getting bat on it.

Ouf... I think thats out there too, Saud. Umpire says no, but it looked pretty good to me, unless the inside edge saves him? Yes... gets a little bat on it.

Not sure I particularly like this playing on in the dark. Pitch has clearly changed a lot in a few overs, and while you could say its the new ball, the new ball this morning wasn't doing this. A couple of balls with a lot of uneven bounce, sudden pronounced seam movement from the pitch..... feels like we are suddenly playing the test somewhere else.

England will be happy that they clawed themselves back into it in session 3, but Pakistan's day... 328-4. I think 500 sets them up nicely for a win, in the evening session there was some evidence of increasing turn from Bashir. Batting last will be difficult.

England bowled 86 overs in a day :o

even with half the overs bowled by spin, they must have spent about 8 hours in the field to bowl that many :panic

Not so easily removed though. England at least not going for so many runs this morning.

Beauty from Bashir to get Saud Shakeel..... when he eventually gets it right, that extra bounce comes into play, but he has bowled all over the place this innings.

Spend two minutes working out if that review had hit the edge, and then it turns out to be miles outside leg stump.....

Still a little hard to see where 500 stands on this pitch. There is a little more turn in it today, and the odd ball that bounces a little awkwardly, but really you'd expect good batters to fancy a score on it. New Ball will be key as it has done something with both new balls, not much, but you feel you need a couple of wickets when it at least does something

Strange decision to bowl Root now with Shaheen on strike and 8 down. Maybe it might work, but I'd want the tailender facing my front line bowler.

As I say that Shaheen puts Root into the stand.

Pakistan 515-8 at tea. Considering how the ball moved around under the lights last night, Pakistan should really be looking to bat out 30-45 minutes and get England in at that twilight time.
